I’ve had this idea for a while : What would it look like if you cut the collar and the wings on a Jordan 1 high?
I used Scraps of a white cow hide for the upper, the back of it was grey suede so I used both side to create that tonal colorway contrasted with that red stitching.
The whole pair was hand stitched using Japanese Sashiko thread.
In a perspective of upcycling, the soles were taken off a slightly worn bespoke pair I made a few years ago, and then dyed with coffee to match the cream laces.
